Weekly markets

Visit the local markets for fresh produce and artisan goods. The market in the historic center is on Tuesdays, while the La Marina urbanization has markets on Thursdays and Sundays.


Within walking distance of the campsite, you'll find the large and charming Saturday market. Here you can buy vegetables, fruit, clothing, and much more.

Places of interest

Elche (18 km) - Visit the famous Palmeral, a UNESCO World Heritage Site.


Tabarca - Take a day trip by boat from Santa Pola to this small island, ideal for snorkeling and soaking up the historic atmosphere.


Admire the characteristic 18th-century parish church in the centre of San Fulgencio, or discover the archaeological sites of La Escuera and El Oral, with remains from the Punic period.


La Marquesa Golf in Ciudad Quesada is close by for a sporty day.


Beaches & nature parks

The beaches of La Marina, Guardamar del Segura and Santa Pola are only a 10-15 minute drive away.


In addition, the area offers many beautiful nature parks.

El Hondo National Parks - Perfect for birdwatchers, including flamingos and hiking trails.

Santa Pola Salt Pans - Salt pans and birdwatching spots, including the Tamarit Tower.

Parque Alfonso XIII (Guardamar) - Extensive dune areas with walking and cycling paths through pine forests.

Shopping & dining out

There are several supermarkets and shops in the immediate vicinity, including Mercadona, Lidl, Aldi, Iceland (an English supermarket), Jysk, and the Dutch supermarket Hollands Welvaren. For a quick bite or a pleasant meal, you can visit Burger King, a Chinese buffet, or Chester, a grill/rock bar.
